Working Papers
Presentation aid that you submit for your speeches.
A working paper is a supplementary piece of content to aid your speeches during debate. This can be a slideshow, a website, a picture, or anything that can be screened in front of the council.
There is no fixed format for a working paper. Different MUNs have different processes for submitting working papers.
Note: Working papers hold a different role in the Singaporean circuit compared to most international MUNs. For these MUNs, working papers tend to refer to draft resolutions that have not been formally introduced to the council.
Importantly, if any part of a working paper is not of your own creation, you must cite your sources. Failure to properly cite your sources may constitute plagiarism.
Once a working paper has been approved by the Dais, you may request for the working paper to be screened during your speech on the GSL or Moderated Caucus.
Samples of working papers can be found in the Preparing Content section. Working papers can be about anything, but the samples focus on working papers on proposed solutions.
